Music has always been my way of discovering the world.

Growing up in Ukraine during the years following independence meant witnessing an extraordinary cultural transformation. As the country gained its independence and grew into a self-conscious nation, the West came to meet the East in a blend of cultures. Bands like Deep Purple, A-ha and The Scorpions would tour not only Kyiv, but also bleak industrious towns like Dnipro, where I grew up. Every concert felt like a window into a much larger world.

Years later, after moving to the Netherlands, that fascination never disappeared. Instead, it evolved into Concertology - an independent online journal dedicated to the experience of live music.

Concertology began as an Instagram page where I shared concert videos and reflections. Today it has grown into a platform for thoughtful concert reviews, artist interviews and visual storytelling. It also includes Concertology Library, a curated collection of books that deepen our understanding of music and the people who create it.

At its heart, Concertology is driven by a simple belief: every concert and every record tells more than one story, and those stories deserve to be heard, seen, and shared with everyone willing to discover them.
